Ian Heppleston has arranged for Brady Bingham, from Canon New Zealand, to come along and talk to the Wellington meeting about Canon cameras and printers, including inks and papers for the latter products.

Word Verification for Comments
Well - it had to happen sooner or later.
We've had to turn word verification on for comments. This adds an extra step when making a comment, as you have to manually enter the letters of a word displayed on the comments screen. This is a better solution than requiring people to register before they comment.
Why have we had to do this? Because some people insist on wrecking things for others, by automatically posting spam into blog comments. We've left the spam comment that was submitted for "Hutt Meeting at Moera Community House on 14 November." as an example.

Hutt Meeting at Moera Community House on 14 November.
Come and hear Jim Oliver talk about BitTorrent -- the free, open source file-sharing application that has taken the Internet by storm. This software is very sophisticated and has become very popular. See it being used by an expert.
This will also be the first time that the club’s new Acer notebook computer is used to present a demonstration, so that should prove to be an additional point of interest.
