Wgtn Meeting, Wednesday 15 October 2014

This month's Wellington meeting will take place at the Little Theatre in Lower Hutt, where Tim Miller, from Victoria University's School of Architecture and Design, will talk about 3D printing and its effect on design. There is no charge for attending this meeting. I was responsible for coming up with the idea of attending this function after seeing it advertised on the Airport Flyer while I was travelling home after visiting the hardware SIG last week. I sent e-mails to Roger, Richard and Arthur Harris suggesting the visit and they all agreed it was a good idea. 3D printing is an exciting concept so the evening should be one of absorbing interest. You can turn up early and have drinks and nibbles (which will not be free) and it will assist you in getting a reasonably good seat as the Little Theatre has seating for just 306 (that figure was given to me by a receptionist at the New Dowse).
